Calculate effective pet ability cooldown, triggers per hour, session attempts, expected successful procs, and the chance of at least one success. Use the cooldown and proc chance shown on your current pet for the safest result after balance patches.

Pet ability scaling is not universal. Different pets can scale differently with weight, age, mutation and support pets, so this tool starts from the cooldown currently shown in-game rather than forcing one formula onto every pet.
Effective CD = max(Cooldown Floor, Base CD × Combined Reduction)Expected Procs = Attempts × Success ChanceP(≥1 success) = 1 − (1 − p)^AttemptsHow to Use the Grow a Garden Pet Ability Calculator
Start With the Live Cooldown
Read the ability timer shown for your actual pet. This avoids relying on an old database value after a balance update.
Enter Trigger Chance
If the effect is guaranteed, enter 100%. If it succeeds only sometimes, enter the displayed percentage.
Add Cooldown Reductions
Enter up to three known cooldown reductions and choose additive or multiplicative stacking only when that matches the mechanic you are testing.
Compare a Full Session
The calculator converts cooldown into triggers per hour, attempts, expected successes and probability across your session.

Cooldown, Triggers and Proc Chance Explained
Triggers per Hour
A 10-minute cooldown gives about six scheduled triggers per hour for one copy. Two independent copies give about twelve before restrictions or downtime.
Expected Successful Procs
Twelve attempts at a 20% success chance gives 2.4 expected successes. That is a long-run average, not a guaranteed session result.
Chance of At Least One Success
The calculator uses 1 − (1 − p)^n across independent attempts.
Target Conditions Matter
Some abilities require eligible fruit, another pet, open inventory space, another player’s plot, or a specific mutation state.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Grow a Garden pet cooldown calculator?
It estimates effective pet ability cooldown after known reductions and converts that into triggers per hour and session attempts.
Does every pet use the same cooldown formula?
No. Community databases show pet-specific scaling and floors, so use the live ability card when possible.
How do I calculate expected pet procs per hour?
Scheduled triggers per hour are approximately 3600 ÷ effective cooldown seconds per copy. Multiply by copies and success probability for expected successful procs.
Can multiple copies be calculated?
Yes. The tool assumes independent timers. If a pet has a special shared-cooldown interaction, use current game behavior instead.
What does “ready at session start” mean?
Each copy gets an immediate attempt at time zero, then continues on its normal cooldown.
Why can real results be lower?
Hunger, full inventory, missing eligible crops, target restrictions and patch changes can reduce useful activations.
Is this calculator official?
No. Grow a Garden Pro Calculator is an independent fan-made utility and is not affiliated with Roblox or the developers.

Ability Data Notes
Current community sources agree that exact cooldowns and ability percentages are update-sensitive. This page therefore treats presets as references and makes the live in-game tooltip the preferred input.
