How to Compare Grow a Garden Pets

Compare the Exact Pets You Own

Replace the preset token value and weight with the current numbers for your actual pets. Pet trade values can move sharply with weight, mutation and market demand.

Keep Mutation Conditions Equal

If you want a cleaner species comparison, use the same pet mutation and demand factor on both sides. If you are comparing an actual trade, enter each pet exactly as it is.

Ability Frequency Is Separate From Value

A shorter cooldown gives more scheduled triggers per hour, but that does not automatically make the pet more useful. Target requirements and ability effect still matter.

Trade Tokens Are Not Sheckles

Trade Tokens are used for pet trading references and should not be treated as a fixed conversion to crop Sheckles. Compare like-for-like token references.

Popular Pet vs Pet Comparisons

Kitsune vs Raccoon

The current mid-weight reference snapshot places them very close in raw tokens. Their abilities differ substantially, so use actual weight, mutation and ability needs rather than treating a tiny token gap as a universal verdict.

T-Rex vs Fennec Fox

Their current mid-weight token references are also relatively close. The useful comparison depends on whether you care more about mutation-related ability effects, current trade demand or exact pet weight.

Disco Bee vs Butterfly

Both interact with crop mutations in very different ways. Comparing only raw Trade Tokens misses the practical difference between a mutation-applying pet and a Rainbow-conversion ability.

Queen Bee vs Mimic Octopus

Queen Bee provides its own abilities, while Mimic Octopus is defined by copying another active pet’s ability. Cooldown and team composition therefore matter heavily in this comparison.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Grow a Garden Pet Comparison Tool compare?

It compares two pets by editable Trade Token reference, pet mutation, demand factor, weight, rarity, source, cooldown and expected useful procs per hour.

Are the Trade Token values live?

No. Built-in values are dated reference snapshots. Update the value fields with the latest market quote for your exact pets before making a trade decision.

Does pet mutation affect the comparison?

Yes. The tool supports common community trade-value modifiers such as Shiny, Golden, Rainbow and Ascended, and multiplies the editable reference token value by the selected modifier.

How are ability triggers per hour calculated?

The calculator uses 3,600 divided by the entered cooldown in seconds. Expected useful procs then multiply that trigger rate by the entered success chance.

Why is there a demand factor?

Community trade values are not fixed. The optional demand factor lets you model a stronger or weaker current market without pretending the dated preset is live.

Can I compare pets not included in the presets?

Yes. Choose Custom Pet and enter rarity, source, weight, token reference, cooldown and other details manually.

Should I use this instead of the WFL Calculator?

Use this page for one-pet-vs-one-pet comparison. Use the WFL Trade Calculator when a trade contains several pets on either side.

Is this calculator official?

No. Grow a Garden Pro Calculator is an independent fan-made utility and is not affiliated with Roblox or the Grow a Garden developers.
